This Coconut Whipped Cream is easy to make and can be delightfully added to any dessert!
I love adding whipped cream to various desserts so I wanted to figure out how to make a yummy dairy-free alternative. This recipe is super easy, creamy and, honestly, too delicious. It pairs perfectly with my Apple Crisp. I've done a lot of trial and error and must report that the brand you use matters! If interested, check out this post by Minimalist Baker that outlines the best and worst ones to use. It is AIP, Paleo, Gluten-free, Dairy-free, and refined sugar-free.

Fun Health Facts

Coconuts are highly nutritious. They're packed with essential vitamins and minerals and, unlike most fruits, are higher in fat rather than carbs.

Coconuts are particularly high in the mineral manganese which promotes bone health and the metabolism of carbohydrates, proteins, and cholesterol.

Like seen in this recipe which uses coconut cream and coconut sugar, it is very easy to add to your diet! Coconut is a great dairy alternative, not to mention, it's delicious!

 Tips & Tricks

  • You must make sure to chill the coconut cream overnight.

  • Only use the cream, not the milk! Add the milk to my Fruit Party Smoothie.

  • You will need a stand mixer for this recipe.
